The Blason de Bourgogne wines are produced from across the Burgundy region, by a group of co-operatives which represents hundreds of vine-growing families. The co-operative structure allows smaller growers to sustain their vineyards which have often been handed down through the generations, and pass them on to the next generation. The recognisable Blason label helps the uninitiated get to grips with the intricacies of the region. Blason’s growers are based throughout the well-known regions of Burgundy, from Chablis, through the Cote d’Or and down to the Maconnais, with some premium vineyard sites in the best villages. This in turn gives consistent top quality without losing the true character and tradition of the region.
