Finca Las Moras

Finca Las Moras

The first premium winery in the San Juan region of Argentina, Finca Las Moras was established after the restructure of the vineyards by viticulturalist Richard Smart in 1993 and takes its name from the mulberry trees that border the estate. Situated to the north of Mendoza, with some vineyards at altitudes of over 1,300m, this region has figuratively, if not literally, been in the shadow of its better known neighbour. Shiraz and Malbec fare particularly well in this sunny, dry region, ideal for the production of organic grapes. The estate has more than 1,100 hectares of vineyards at its disposal and is focused on sustainability and innovation in both vineyard and winery.
