Felipe Tosso brings a world of experience to Vina Ventisquero. He was persuaded to abandon his global winemaking adventure and stay in Chile by founder Don Gonzalo Vial. Vina Ventisquero was founded in 2000, which meant the soils could be mapped and each variety planted in perfect soil. With such ideal sites, the winery only ever has to source fruit from its own estate. Other than maintaining high quality for the wines, sustainability is key for Vina Ventisquero. The winery became the first in Chile to voluntarily offset its carbon emissions.
